EDUCATION

Summit Valley School District

12 schools migrated in a single term.

Hybrid classrooms lacked a consistent platform, and device management was handled manually per school. We deployed a district-wide Microsoft 365 EDU standard.

THE CHALLENGE

Where They
Started.

Hybrid classrooms lacked a consistent platform — some schools used Teams, others used a mix of email and paper handouts, and device management was handled manually, school by school, by whichever staff member happened to know the most about computers. A device issue at one school could take days to resolve, and there was no districtwide way to push a security update or lock a lost device.

  • No consistent classroom platform — each school picked its own tools
  • Device management was manual and inconsistent across all 12 schools
  • IT had no way to push security updates or remotely lock lost devices district-wide
  • Teachers new to a school had to relearn a different system each time

If this sounds like your environment, the first conversation is free and takes 15 minutes.

THE WORK

What We
Did.

We deployed Microsoft 365 EDU with Teams-based hybrid classrooms and Intune-managed device fleets across the district, giving every school the same platform and IT one console to manage every device.

01

District-wide standards design

Defined one Teams-for-Education classroom structure and device policy to be rolled out identically at all 12 schools.

02

Phased school rollout

Migrated schools in waves through the term, starting with the two most tech-ready to build a repeatable playbook.

03

Intune device enrollment

Enrolled every district device into Intune for centralized policy, patching, and remote lock/wipe capability.

04

Teacher onboarding

Ran short per-school training sessions so every teacher started the following term on the same platform, no exceptions.

We'd scope the same kind of engagement for your business, with timelines and effort against each stage.

For the first time, a teacher who transfers schools mid-year doesn't have to relearn anything. It's the same Teams setup everywhere.

A boutique executive search firm

A boutique executive search firm nearly lost the one thing its whole business runs on, the trust in its founder's inbox. Here is exactly how the attack worked, the questions we asked, and every PowerShell step we ran to contain it.

A logistics company

Like a lot of growing operations, this logistics company approved invoices by forwarding emails. Someone then tracked who had signed off in a shared spreadsheet, retyping the same details every day. It worked, right up until the person who knew the spreadsheet went on vacation. The cracks showed in the usual places. Approvals sat unread at the bottom of inboxes. Nobody could say for certain who had signed off, or when, without scrolling back through an email chain. A mistyped number was caught late, if at all. The team did not want yet another subscription, another login, another monthly fee for an approval tool. They wanted the process fixed, inside the tools they already trusted. They thought they needed to buy an approval tool. It turned out they already owned everything they needed.

A field services company

This field services company had rented an off the shelf tracking tool for years. It almost fit. The field teams bent their day around the software, not the other way round. Every month the subscription invoice landed for a product nobody loved. Half the fields were ignored, and the one screen they truly needed was never there. When they looked at the alternatives, the story repeated. Every serious platform meant a bigger monthly fee and a long onboarding. Each one added another login and another place their data would live. They did not want a heavier rental. They wanted a tool that matched how they worked, and they wanted to own it. They did not want a heavier rental. They wanted a tool shaped around their work, living in their own system, that was theirs to keep.
